Getting Started
Place your mouse on the small pictures to see a larger one.
Digging around the edge.
It's a big hole!
The hole gets bigger.
...and the hole gets bigger.
Our operators love this one.
Our roller in action.
A nicely packed floor.
Adding, grading, and rolling the stone.
Patriot Engeneering did the Compaction Testing.
More stone...
If the stone is too dry, water must be added.
Each lift is graded.
More testing...
Outlining the basement...
Digging out the inside.
More digging...
...how big is this bank, anyway?
Air Conditioned Cab, AM-FM Radio, no cruise control, and the mileage could be a little better, but overall, a nice ride!
This is gonna be a big hole...
After we dig, we roll.
Now we can start adding stone.
We add stone in lifts.
Then every lift is tested for the correct compaction.
Then more stone is added.
Stone that is too dry will not compact correctly, so water must be added.
The compaction is tested after every 6" lift.
